DescriptionKate Adie reports as a small ship servicing oil tankers in a supposedly safe anchorage just outside the Persian Gulf was blown up by a mine.
The mine destroyed the 156-foot Anita, a tender, as she sailed through the anchorage off the United Arab Emirates port of Fujaira on the Gulf of Oman. One crewman was killed and five others, including the British captain, were missing. Running time 1 minute and 43 seconds.
